Located just 53 miles east of Miami, Florida, Bimini is comprised of three islands, North Bimini, South Bimini, and East Bimini. It is said that Martin Luther King Jr. visited Bimini during his lifetime to find inspiration to work on his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech. Another prominent person who fell in love with Bimini, was the American novelist, Ernest Hemmingway who purportedly wrote part of his novel, ‘The Old Man and The Sea’ in Bimini.
